SUNDAY was a busy day at Inver Park, as several Larne Youth teams were put through their paces.
The players took part in various individual tests as Larne Youth try to work more specifically on technical elements of each player’s game.
The tests will give coaches detailed insight into each player’s individual areas of strength, and areas for development. This will allow a more tailored approach to training and the coaches will then work to improve these areas making the players much stronger technically.
The testing has been rolled out for each of the 2011-2002 teams as well as the girls development teams.
The technical tests will become a more regular means of monitoring the progress of player development throughout the season.
