Stuart McCammon added to backroom team

LARNE Football Club is delighted to announce that Stuart McCammon has joined Tiernan Lynch’s backroom staff for the remainder of the 2019/20 season.

The local personal trainer, who runs Stuart McCammon Fitness, Strength & Performance, joins The Invermen and has been working under the guidance of Head Sports Therapist Michael O’Boyle for several weeks

Speaking about his new role, Stuart said: “I’m really enjoying working with Mick (O’Boyle) and the team during their strength and conditioning gym sessions at Inver Park.

“It’s a great challenge for me and all the boys have made me feel part of the team straight away with the banter and positive reactions to the advice I am giving. I look forward to continuing my work with the club during the remainder of the season.”

Michael O’Boyle, who joined the club at the beginning of the 2019/20 season has welcomed the added expertise which Stuart has brought to the backroom set up at Inver Park.

He said, “I’m delighted to have Stuart on board within the first team set up for the remainder of the season. Stuart works closely alongside myself and the current performance and medical staff to assist the process of physical and power development within the team.

“Stuart has designed individual programmes for each player, tailored to get the best out of both the individual and the team.”

We would like to thank Stuart for taking time out of his busy schedule to support the club and look forward to seeing the benefits in performance during the remainder of the season.
