Strong showing not enough to prevent Windsor defeat

A Ronan Hale goal two minutes after coming off the bench wasn’t enough to prevent Larne from falling to a defeat against Linfield at Windsor Park.

Stephen Fallon fired Linfield into a half-time lead, only for Hale to come off the bench and deservedly level the game shortly after the hour mark.

Christy Manzinga scored the winner 17 minutes from time however, to leave Larne empty-handed.
