Sensory bags now available for Inver matchdays

LARNE Football Club is pleased to announce that after working with our Disability Access Officer Claire Taggart, we are now in a position to offer sensory bags to supporters each matchday at Inver Park.

The sensory bags, which will be available for the first time during this Friday’s Sadler’s Peaky Blinder Irish Cup Quarter-Final against Coleraine, assist supporters with autism or sensory processing issues. This is something the club has been keen to have in place for some time as we aim to be inclusive for everyone in the local community.

Speaking on the launch of our sensory bags, Claire Taggart said: “I am delighted the club have invested in these sensory bags to assist supporters and families to make our stadium as inclusive as possible for everyone.  I hope that this opens our doors to new supporters who could previously have found the noise and crowd a difficult environment to enjoy.”

The sensory bags can be booked for every game at Inver Park during the remainder of the 2019/20 season and beyond, with a booking process to be put in place beginning this Friday night against Coleraine in the Irish Cup.”

Anyone seeking more information or who wishes to book a sensory bag for an upcoming game should contact our General Manager Niall Curneen via email at niallcurneen@larnefc.com.
