Osei-Bonsu returns to England

LARNE Football Club can confirm that midfielder Andrew Osei-Bonsu has left the club by mutual consent.

Andrew arrived at the club in the summer, subsequently making a total of six appearances – two starts and four more from the bench – in his four months at Inver Park.

The former MK Dons graduate found it difficult to win his place back in the side after an injury early in the campaign.

First Team manager Tiernan Lynch said: “We’re sorry that things didn’t work out as we had hoped.

“Andrew is a great guy and he just want to play football, which we can understand and we certainly won’t stand in his way to let him do that.

“He leaves with our very best wishes and we wish him every success in the future as he continues his career in England.”
