New transport for fans with mobility issues

LARNE Football Club are delighted to announce that, from this Saturday, we will provide special transport for supporters with mobility issues on away days.

The club’s bus, commonly used to transport Larne Youth squads around the country every weekend, will now also make the trip to away games thanks to volunteer Nat Woodside. Nat, who many will know from his involvement within Larne Youth over several years, approached the club regarding potential transport issues for a number of supporters.

Speaking on the matter, Nat said: “After speaking to a number of supporters at Inver Park on a matchday, I felt that it would be beneficial to have transport made available solely for those with mobility issues, for which travelling on supporters’ buses would not be ideal.

“Larne Football Club swiftly agreed and have kindly donated their bus for every away game for the remainder of the season. We will be communicating with other clubs on a week by week basis to ensure that our supporters are dropped off as close to the stadium as possible and looked after by stewards.”

Limited spaces remain available for Saturday’s trip to Seaview, with anyone wishing to book a spot able to do so by contacting Nat Woodside on Facebook or by phone (07886916150).
