Jeff’s career came full circle in the summer of 2018 when he returned to his hometown club, signing for Tiernan Lynch’s side.
His last game for the club had been the 2005 Irish Cup final, before earning a move to Lincoln City.
From there it was on to Crystal Palace, with a number of loan moves before settling at Bristol Rovers. Notts County and Fleetwood Town were also stops for the cultured left-sided midfielder, as he earned Northern Ireland recognition along the way.
His last stop in England was at Tranmere Rovers, with his final game for the club at Wembley as he helped them back to the Football League with playoff success.
