The talented 27-year-old can operate in a number of different positions and has shown as much at the club, since arriving at the club in January 2020.

Whether it be left-back, wing-back or the centre of midfield, Dean looks equally at home.

He arrived at the club after a highly successful two-year spell at League of Ireland kingpins, Dundalk.

His stay a Oriel Park was littered with medals and trophies, winning two SSE Airtricity Premier Division titles in a row. He also collected winners medals in the FAI Cup, EA Sports Cup, President’s Cup and Unite the Union Champions Cup.

Before this, Dean began his career as a youngster with Aberdeen.

He then returned home to play for Institute in the Irish League, before making more than 100 appearances at Derry City, before catching the eye of Dundalk.
