6. JOHN HERRON

Midfielder

John is a creative midfield player, who arrived at Inver Park in the January 2020 transfer window, one day before his 26th birthday.

He came to the club after a year and a half at Danske Bank Premiership rivals Glentoran.

Before this stint at the Oval, John spent the vast majority of his career in his native Scotland, with a brief stint south of the border, in England.

He was began his career at Glasgow Celtic, making his way through the ranks from youth teams to first team, under then boss Neil Lennon.

Following his departure from Parkhead, he spent a season with Blackpool, before moving back north for a loan spell at Cowdenbeath.

His permanent departure from Bloomfield Road saw him spend a year with Raith Rovers ahead of arriving at Glentoran.

John has also been capped at every underage group with Scotland, right up under-21 level.
