LARNE FOOTBALL CLUB is seeking to expand its internal media team with up to two new members.
There has never been a better time to get involved with the Inver Reds. The team is riding high at the top of the Bluefin Sport Championship. We reached the Irish Cup Semi Finals last season, the County Antrim Shield Semi Finals this season and even had a pre-season trip to Andorra! That’s before we even mention our award winning social media campaigns.
It’s busy and fast moving and we are looking to bring in talented individuals to match that. We are looking primarily for ambitious, young videographers who are looking to expand their CV and gain experience towards building a career in the industry.
The successful applicants will be responsible for filming every Larne Football Club first team match this season and to edit and produce and ensure that highlights for our YouTube channel promptly and to a high standard.
You will also have the opportunity to take part in assisting the club’s Commercial Director and Marketing Executive with non-football related promotional activities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
– Capture footage of every match;
– Send full game footage to the first team manager for analysis;
– Edit footage and provide a highlights package which will uploaded on to YouTube channel;
– Help with promotional activities within the club when possible.
SKILLS/QUALITIES
– Keep good levels of communication with Commercial Director, Marketing Executive and other media team members;
– Exceptional time keeping skills, allowing time for preparation before kick off;
– Good organisation skills, such as planning ahead to ensure availability and transport for future fixtures;
– A creative mind which will improve our match day highlights packages, helping the team to compete with the best in the industry and continuously innovate and improve;
– High quality editing skills, including having access to relevant computer packages;
– Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines;
– Excellent attention to detail.
REQUIREMENTS
– Availability to attend the vast majority of home and away games, both on Saturdays and mid-week;
– Some experience in working with a video camera;
– Experience in working with editing software;
– Access to own equipment (preferable);
– Access to your own transport (preferable, travel to away games may be provided).
