McErlane joins Ladies ahead of Championship kick-off

Larne Ladies are delighted to announce the signing of Leola McErlane from Belfast Celtic Ladies.

Leola arrives at the club with experience under her belt in the Championship, having been top goal scorer for two consecutive seasons at Belfast Celtic.

After putting pen to paper, Leola said: “I decided to make the move to Larne Ladies for a new challenge. Everyone has been super welcoming and I am excited for the season to begin.”

Larne Ladies manager William Noble made sure to do his homework on the latest arrival at Inver Park, as he targets another promotion for the club.

β€˜I’m delighted to add a player of Leola’s quality and experience to our squad,” he said.

“We know the quality in the Championship and if we want to compete for another promotion then it’s vital that we add more experience to our squad.

“Having spoken to both her previous managers, Ryan Caddell from Belfast Celtic and Tommy Elliot from PSNI, both playing in the Championship Leola comes highly recommended with a great attitude and brilliant scoring record.

“Leola will add further quality and experience to our attacking game and we are excited to see her make an impact on the team in the coming season.”
