McAlinden on the mic as Carrick trip is live-streamed

We are delighted to confirm Saturday’s trip to face Carrick Rangers will be streamed live online, with both clubs working together to provide live action for fans who miss out on being at the Belfast Loughshore Hotel Arena.

The contest, which is our first competitive game away from home this season, will see Tiernan Lynch’s men go head-to-head with Niall Currie’s side in a 3pm kick-off.

We are delighted to announce that it will be a former manager of both clubs, David McAlinden (pictured), who will be on commentary duties for the game alongside Joel Neill, who talked us through the action in last weekend’s 3-0 win over Dungannon Swifts.

McAlinden spent three and a half years in the Inver Park hot seat between November 2013 and April 2017, eventually being replaced by current boss Tiernan Lynch.

After his spell at Inver, McAlinden spent a year in charge of Rangers, leaving the club in the summer of 2018. He will therefore be well placed to help steer us through the eagerly anticipated first derby of the season.

With a restricted attendance for the game, including 80 tickets sold to Larne fans, the live stream provides the next best thing for those unable to get their hands on a ticket.

You can purchase yours now £7.50 here: https://www.247.tv/gaa/niprem/video/1170557-carrick-rangers-v-larne-saturday-24th-oct-2020-15-00pm

Purchasing your ticket for this will enable you to watch the game live, as well as a full replay afterwards.

If you haven’t already, it is recommended registering on the website before logging on to watch the match on Saturday afternoon.
