The Opposition

Portadown currently sit 10th in the Danske Bank Premiership having won just 4 of their 27 league games so far. The Ports come into Tuesday’s game on the back of a difficult four goal defeat to Glentoran on Saturday and will be looking for the chance to bounce back with a positive result against the Invermen.

The Inver Reds

The Inver Reds got back to winning ways on Saturday with a dominant 3 goal derby victory against Carrick Rangers. Tiernan Lynch’s men will be hoping to make it two wins on the bounce with another victory come Tuesday evening. Fuad Sule completed the last game of his suspension on Saturday and as such, will be available for selection, whilst Graham Kelly is a doubt after he was forced to leave the field of play early on Saturday following an injury.

Last Time Out

A draw was the outcome the last time these two sides met back in February. A mix up in the Larne defence gave the Ports the lead early on before a goal and an assist from Dylan Mottley Henry ensured Larne went into half time with the lead. Larne had several chances in the second half but just could not put the ball in the next and were punished when the Ports equalised on the 90th minute meaning the spoils were shared at Inver Park.
