Sep 9, 2019 | Archive

It’s a return to cup action for Tiernan Lynch’s side this Tuesday night, as we take on Championship side PSNI in our 2019/20 County Antrim Shield opener. Here is all you need to know to make the most of your matchday experience!

TICKETS

Tickets for Tuesday night’s game can be purchased on Monday and Tuesday from the club offices, as well as at the Ticket Kiosk, formerly the Wee Bar, on the night of the match.. Tickets will be priced at £10 (18-64 years old), £6 (12-17 & 65+ years old) and £3 (0-11 years old if accompanied by an adult). As Tuesday night’s game is a split-gate between both clubs, Season Ticket holders will NOT get free admission and will have to purchase a ticket.

PARKING

As usual, parking will be available at Riverdale and Laharna Retail Park, both leaving just a short walk up the Inver Road to the stadium. We would ask supporters to be careful when parking around the stadium and to be respectful of housing in the area.

1889 CLUB

The 1889 Sports & Social Club will be open from 6pm pre-game, serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Our matchday special for the game will be 4 bottles of Coors Light for £10, with members discount still valid on the night.

CLUB SHOP

Our club shop will also be open pre-game from 6.30-7.30pm. On sale is our Nike merchandise range, including hoodies, shirts, full zips and training shirts. We will also have our remaining ‘back to school’, match scarves and branded clothing ranges on sale.

MATCH PROGRAMME

A 12 page midweek special of our matchday programme will be available at the Ticket Kiosk tomorrow night, priced at a reduced £2. The programme will feature a Tiernan Lynch interview, words from our Goalkeeping Coach Michael Dougherty and much much more!

THE VISITORS

PSNI come in to Tuesday’s game in good form, having won three of their last five league games. A 2-1 victory over Ballyclare Comrades at Dixon Park on Saturday past, leave the side from Newforge Lane sitting in 7th place in the Bluefin Sport Championship.
