Matchday Guide: Larne v Glenavon

It’s back to Danske Bank Premiership action this weekend, with Larne taking on Glenavon at Inver Park for a 5:30pm kick off. If you are heading to the game, read our Matchday Guide below to find out everything you need to know.

Tickets and Parking

Tickets are available to purchase online NOW for home and away supporters at https://www.larnefc.com/tickets/. Tickets prices are as normal rate of £12 for adults and £8 for concessions.

Tickets will be available at the Ticket Kiosk before the game, however, we recommend that you purchase your tickets online to ensure faster entry to the stadium and avoid queues at the turnstiles.

This match WILL be segregated and all away supporters will be required to enter the stadium via Church Road to gain access to the Larne Port and P&O Ferries McKay Stand.

Parking facilities will be available at Riverdale Car Park, Laharna Retail Park and First Larne Church, all of which are a short walk to Inver Park.

Brighter Futures Shirt Swap

A Harry Flowers Home Shirt is the prize that is up for grabs in the Brighter Futures Shirt Swap this week. Tickets cost just £1 and can be purchased from our roaming volunteers up until kick – off.

Matchday Programme

The latest edition of our hugely popular Matchday Programme will be available to purchase from our roaming sellers on Saturday. For just £3, the Matchday Programme is packed full with interviews with current/former players, matchday images and statistics from the season so far, make sure to get yours before they sell out!

Club Shop

The Club Shop will be open from 4:30pm on Saturday and it will also be open at half – time and after the game. Pop in before heading to your seat and have a look at our Nike merchandise and 1889 casual wear ranges, with other miscellaneous items also in stock!

1889 Club

Open from 12pm, we have live Premier League action as Liverpool look to get back to winning ways as they take on Bournemouth at 12:30pm. Our ‘Matchday Happy Hour’ will run from 2 – 5pm where you will be able to get four bottles of select beer for £10 and a Vodka and Coke for £4.50 (2 vodkas and a bottle of coke £7.50)

After the game, it’s Disco Night in 1889! DJ Derek Reid will be providing the classics for everyone to enjoy and entry for this event is FREE!

The Opposition

Glenavon currently occupy 7th place in the Danske Bank Premiership, just one place below ourselves – albeit with an 18 point gap between the two sides. In their last three outings Glenavon have drawn with Glentoran defeated Crusaders and lost to Coleraine.
