Matchday Guide: Glenavon away

This Saturday sees the Inver Reds take on Glenavon in the reverse fixture of our 6-0 win at Inver Park earlier in the season. An exciting game awaits, with both sides hoping to get a positive result following defeats last weekend, with Larne narrowly losing out to Linfield and Glenavon suffering defeat to Carrick Rangers.

Below is everything you need to know before making the trip to Mourneview Park.

Tickets

Tickets will be available at the entry gates on Saturday, with prices set at £12 for adults and £8 for concessions.

Tickets for our December home fixtures against Coleraine (14th), Carrick Rangers (26th) and Cliftonville (28th) are now available for purchase online at www.larnefc.com/tickets/. Supporters are encouraged to buy online in order to guarantee a speedy and efficient entrance into the stadium.

Christmas Toy Appeal

The deadline for our #MakeItMagical Christmas Toy Appeal is drawing near! Supporters can leave their donations of toys, perfume/aftershave and vouchers into 1889 Sports & Social Club from 12pm onwards on both Saturday and Sunday this weekend. Thank you for your support towards a fantastic cause.

Travel

There will be a number of supporters buses making the trip to Lurgan this Saturday.

The Red and Whites will be running two buses to the match. Space is filling up fast so to book your seat contact the Red and Whites Facebook page, or alternatively contact Ian Falconer. The bus will be leaving from 1889 Sports & Social club at 1.00pm.

The Larne NISC will be leaving the Larne Rangers Supporters Club at 1.00pm, with an up at the Larne Football Social Club (Station Road). To book your place contact our Supporters Liaison Officer, Richard Todd.

Larne Bodega Reds will be leaving from Q-Club Larne at 1.00pm There are limited spaces available on the bus so make sure you book your space early. Contact Larne Bodega Reds Supporters Club on Facebook for more information.

1889 Sports & Social Club

The 1889 Sports & Social club will be open from 12.00pm until late on Saturday. The Club will be showing all of the action from this week’s English Premier League, starting at 12.30pm with Everton vs Chelsea and then the Manchester derby as Manchester City host Manchester United at 5.30pm.

There will be live music from the Hillbilly Biltong Band starting at 7.00pm, entry into this event will cost just £5.

The Lurgan Blues are currently 8th in the Danske Bank Premiership, sitting on 17 points after 15 games. They have won 2 out of their last 5 league games, with their last result being a 6-2 defeat by Carrick Rangers.
