Matchday Guide: Dungannon Swifts v Larne

This Saturday sees the Invermen travel to Stangmore Park as they face Dungannon Swifts for the second time this season.

Below is all of the information that our travelling support will need to make the most of their trip.

ENTRY

Dungannon Swifts will be operating a pay at the gate system this weekend. Tickets will be available at the turnstiles, priced at £12 for adults and £8 for concessions, as per NIFL pricing regulations.

TRAVEL

There will be a number of supporter’s buses travelling to Dungannon on Saturday.

The Red and Whites Supporters’ Club bus will be leaving Inver Park at 1.00pm. To book, contact their official Facebook page.

The Larne N.I.S.C. bus will depart the Larne Rangers Club at 1.00pm, for those wishing to attend the Northern Ireland vs Netherlands game the bus will drop people off in Belfast on the way home from Stangmore Park.

For those travelling by car take the A8 out of the town towards Belfast. Take the M2 until reach the M2/M1 junction. Stangmore Park is located 1 mile north of the M1/A4 Junction 15, and a mile south of Dungannon town centre.

1889 SPORTS & SOCIAL CLUB

1889 will be open from 12pm until LATE on Saturday and is the perfect matchday location for supporters both before and after the game. The club will be showing Northern Ireland vs Netherlands at 7.45pm and there will be a number of promotions running throughout the day including:

  • Four bottles of select beer for £10
  • Four pints for £12 with a Match Card
  • Bacardi and Ginger Ale with a wedge of orange for £4
  • Matchday Bingo Cards – Chance to win a £30 bar tab
  • Match cards- be in with a chance of winning a 2020/21 season ticket for Larne Football Club
  • A Coors Light sampling session.

Live music will be on from 10pm with Johnny Bravo keeping everyone entertained after the football finishes.

CHRISTMAS TOY APPEAL

Supporters can leave their Christmas Toy Appeal donations into 1889 Sports & Social Club at any time on Saturday. We are teaming up with Women’s Aid and their #MakeItMagical campaign to supply underprivileged young people with packed toys and vouchers this Christmas. We would be very grateful for as many supporters as possible to donate a toy/voucher this weekend.

THE OPPOSITION

Dungannon Swifts are currently 9th in the Danske Bank Premiership, sitting on 14 points. Kris Lindsay’s side go into the weekend suffering 5 defeats on the bounce despite a strong start to their league campaign. Our last encounter with the Swifts ended 0-0 at Inver Park, earlier in the season.
