The Invermen finally get back to league action after the two weeks without fixtures, travelling to face Stephen Baxter’s Crusaders in a 12:30pm kick off at Seaview on Saturday afternoon.

Tickets and Entry

Due to current COVID-19 restrictions, Saturday’s fixtures will once again be played behind closed doors. However, supporters can still watch all the action live on Sky Sports Main Event with all information included below.

TV Coverage

Saturday’s game will be broadcast live across the UK via Sky Sports Main Event. With the earlier kick off time of 12:30pm, coverage from Seaview will begin at 12:20pm.

The Inver Reds

Tiernan Lynch will be hoping to use Saturday’s game to get back to winning ways following a first league defeat of the season in our previous league fixture against Ballymena. Conor McKendry’s recent return from injury should mean a full squad available and in contention for a place in the starting line-up.

The Opposition

Crusaders come into Saturday’s game having won three of their last four outings and right in the running for the Danske Bank Premiership title. The Crues currently sit third in the table, three points behind league leaders Linfield and one point behind the Invermen, which sets up an intriguing battle in front of the Sky TV cameras.

Last Time Out

The Inver Reds came out on top in the last meeting league meeting between the two sides. Tiernan Lynch’s men ran out 2-1 winners with two quick-fire goals from Davy McDaid and Tomas Cosgrove guaranteeing the points for the Invermen.
