Marketing roles added to Scholarship Programme

We are delighted to announce that our Scholarship Programme is now accepting applications for marketing and media students ahead of the upcoming academic year, in partnership with the Steven Gerrard Academy and Larne High School.

Over the past number of years, our Scholarship Programme has given the opportunity for students to complete a BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sport (the equivalent of three A Levels and up to 168 UCAS points). This is alongside training in a full-time environment at our professional facilities throughout the week and playing for our Academy sides on matchdays.

The new roles, aimed for those with an interest in a marketing or media career within sport, will offer the same qualifications and unique opportunities, swapping pitch sessions for the chance to work alongside the club’s award-winning marketing and media team (pictured above).

During the time outside of the classroom, the students will gain exposure to the fast-paced sports industry and experience in the following areas:

  • Sports Marketing
  • Digital Marketing
  • Content Creation (Photography, Graphic Design, Videography)
  • Data Analytics and Insights
  • Social Media Management (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok)
  • Commercial Management
  • Advertising
