Following yesterday’s announcement of our partnership with Her Game Too, we are delighted to announce that Margaret Ferguson will become our designated Her Game Too Ambassador, as part of a wider Supporter Liaison Officer role.

Margaret, who will join Richard Todd as the club’s second Supporter Liaison Officer, comes on board as one of our key action points as we commit to ensuring that all aspects of our fanbase are acknowledged at the highest level.

As part of the role, Margaret will help our staff at Inver Park ensure that the partnership with Her Game Too is fully delivered, while also helping to further support our ever-growing female fanbase.

Joel Neill, Director with responsibility for supporter liaison and community engagement, said: “As soon as we decided that an ambassador and additional SLO was going to be one of the club’s Her Game Too deliverables, Margaret was the first name who sprung to mind as an avid supporter who is well respected at Inver Park.

“Our ever-growing female and family fanbases are something which we already take great pride in, which we are committed to growing further and to do that, we need to ensure that we are always listening to those arrive at Inver Park to support the team already.

“With Margaret’s help, I am extremely confident that our relationship with supporters will grow even stronger in both the short and long-term future.”

Delighted to be joining the Supporter Liaison Team, Margaret Ferguson added: “I’m really pleased to be joining the club as Northern Ireland’s first Her Game Too Ambassador. It is an excellent campaign which lies close to the heart of so many, and I would encourage more clubs in the NI Football League to get involved.

“While Her Game Too is our first port of call, we will also be working long-term to ensure Larne Football Club remains the most forward thinking club in Northern Ireland, and I am always available to hear any ideas which supporters may have to help us achieve this.”
