We are delighted to announce Matty Lusty and Dylan Sloan have both signed new long-term contracts at the club.

The teenage pair both come through the club’s Scholarship programme before breaking into Tiernan Lynch’s first team squad in recent seasons.

Lusty, 19, made his debut towards the end of the 2020/21 campaign, catching the eye with his first goals for the club as a 16-year-old.

Sloan, 18, also made his bow before the end of that season and has established himself as a regular in the squad this season after a loan spell at Knockbreda in the second half of 2021/22.

Both players have also been involved in the Northern Ireland squad in recent weeks, with Dylan representing the under-19’s and Matty called up by the under-21’s.

Boss Tiernan Lynch was delighted to see the pair extend their contracts at Inver Park.

He said: “Both young players are making really good progress, which has been reflected by their involvement in then senior squad this season.

“They are here on merit and both players have a desire to keep improving, which is key.

“They have also been recognised by Northern Ireland too, which highlights their progress.

“The two lads have both also come through our Scholarship programme, which we believe is important for us as a club in ‘growing our own’.

“The key for both lads now is to keep working and keep pushing on every day.”
