LARNE LADIES were bolstered ahead of the new 2019 season with the addition of Craig Leworthy to the Coaching staff, who joins from Crewe United Ladies.

The London born man will join William Noble and Gary Hood as the Inver Women hope to build upon a successful first season back in football where they won NIWFA North 2 with an unbeaten record.

Indeed, Larne Ladies will be hoping to emulate Crewe United Ladies, who won promotion in consecutive season with Leworthy in charge.

Craig brings a broad range of experience both as a player and as a coach. He came up through the ranks at Southampton and Peterborough United and played professionally for San Pedro in Spain and Havant and Waterlooville in England before a spell with Lisburn Distillery in the Irish League.

His Father, David, played professionally for Tottenham Hotspur and Oxford United in the old First Division in the 80s.
