Larne’s first away trip of the new Danske Bank Premiership campaign awaits as Larne travel to take on Glenavon on Saturday. The game at Mourneview Park kicks off at 3pm, with all you need to know ahead off the encounter, in our Landmark Match Guide below.

Tickets and Travel

Tickets for the game can be purchased HERE. They are priced at £12 for adults and £8 for concessions. Those in Primary School will be admitted for free, when accompanied with an adult.

Fans can also pay at the turnstiles, but are encouraged to buy their tickets online to avoid queues at the stadium.

The Inver Red & Whites and Larne Northern Ireland Supporters Club are both running buses to this game, and a place can be booked via their facebook pages.

Glenavon

Glenavon kicked off their new season with a point in their eventful 2-2 draw away to Ballymena United last Saturday. Despite going 2-o down and eventually being reduced to nine men they were rewarded for their perseverance with a stoppage time equaliser from Aaron Prendergast to claim a point against the odds.

Glenavon boss Gary Hamilton has made a number of pre-season additions to his squad, including former Glentoran goalkeeper Rory Brown and midfielder Jack Malone from Derry City.

The Inver Reds

Larne also have one point from their first game coming into this clash, after last Friday’s 0-0 draw with Glentoran. The Invermen looked solid throughout against a dangerous Glentoran forward line, while Tiernan Lynch will keen to create more opportunities going forward.

A number of new recruits made their league debut for the club against the Glens, including Aaron Donnelly, Leroy Millar and Paul O’Neill, while Daniel Kearns and Shea Gordon came off the bench.
