The Belfast Loughshore Arena is the venue as the Olympic side of Larne Ladies take on Lisburn Rangers tonight in the NIWFA Division 4 Cup Final.

The Inverwomen booked their spot in the final with a fantastic 4-1 away win over Banbridge Rangers despite having no available substitutes and in extremely poor conditions.

The Olympic side also finished in 3rd place this season, narrowly missing out on promotion, but finished with an impressive 28 points from 14 games. The team has won nine of the 14 fixtures drawing one and losing just four this year.

Larne’s opponents tonight are Lisburn Rangers who have been on fantastic form all year, winning the NIWFA Division 4 title in impressive style. The Lisburn side have won all of their 14 league games this year finishing on an impressive total of 42 points and winning the league by 13 points.

Olympic manager Daniel Carlisle said: “I’m delighted that the players have earned their place in a cup final in our first year together as a team.

“I am very excited for the game and for some our younger players, it’s their first year in senior women’s football, it is a fantastic learning experience for them.

“The girls have worked hard this season on and off the pitch and now they can walk onto the pitch, give it their all and cap off the season with a performance to be proud of.

“I want the girls to enjoy the game they have earned, embrace the experience and do themselves proud.”

The NIWFA division 4 cup final kicks off at 7.30 tonight with an admission fee of £3.
