Larne Ladies have secured the signing of Aimee Beggs from PSNI Ladies.

Beggs, who had been with Ballymena since she was eight, moved to PSNI in 2017 winning the League Cup during the 2017/18 season.

She is a central defender who can also operate in central midfield.

Following her move to Inver Park, Beggs said: “I am delighted to sign for Larne Ladies. Since I signed everyone has been so welcoming. I have seen the progress this team has made over the past few season and it gives me great encouragement for what is still to come and I can’t wait to be a part of it.:

Manager William Noble also gave us his thoughts on new signing.

He said: “I am delighted to confirm the signing of Aimee Beggs. Aimee has played senior woman’s football for over 10 years playing at Championship level with PSNI and Ballymena.

“When I heard of Aimees availability I moved quickly to get her signed. Aimee will add great strength, physicality and experience to our back line and we are excited to have her join the squad.”
