In the Spotlight with: D’s, The Book Nook, Larne Dental Centre and Inspirational Furnishings

LARNE Football Club is delighted to launch a new series on social media, In the Spotlight where each week, we will feature four of our fantastic sponsors giving you an opportunity to find out who they are, and what their business offers.  A strong club is built on the support of sponsors, and sponsor benefits from everyone’s support where possible.  That is the cycle that we are creating here in Larne for many years to come.  We have some fantastic local traders and were showcasing a few to our many followers through this series.

For the first week of this new series, our spotlight features D’s, The Book Nook, Larne Dental Centre and Inspirational Furnishings. All four of these businesses are based within the Larne area and in close proximity to Inver Park.

D’s is a local fast food takeaway and are currently offer walk-in’s, deliveries and phone and collect.  They have diversified their service to overcome the impact of Covid-19, and when the restrictions are lifted, customers will be able to sit in once again. D’s offer their own unique southern fried chicken range and as well a Gluten Free range to try and suit every customer’s need. Everything at D’s is cooked fresh to order by Drew, Glenda and their team and you can find their opening hours and menus on their Facebook page which is updated daily.

The Book Nook is a family run business that has been trading for over 40 years on Larne Main Street specialising in books, gifts, cards and souvenirs.   In recent years, the well-presented store now includes the town’s main Post Office facility as well as the visitor information hub.  Stephen, Elaine, Gordon and their staff pride themselves on giving all visitors and customers a friendly welcome and encourage them to browse their range in store, taking great pleasure in supporting their local football club and plan to do so for many years to come.

Larne Dental Centre is a family-owned business that is dedicated to offering a quality dental experience uniquely tailored to each individual’s needs. Located on Glenarm Road, customer experience and quality is at the heart of everything this business does and they happily go above and beyond to ensure clients are at peace from start to finish.  Some of the services offered at Larne Dental Centre include cosmetic and general dentistry, teeth straightening and facial aesthetics and believe it or not some of our players have already availed of their services – but we won’t tell you who!

Inspirational Furnishings, established in 2007, offer a large selection of goods at competitive prices including quality carpets, flooring and rugs as well as some furniture items and beds. Located just off the Millbrook Roundabout, their modern showroom is well laid out and easy for customers to browse and they are always on the lookout for new products to ensure everyone has a choice. Free parking at the store and free measuring and quotes, Inspirational Furnishings always go that extra bit for their consumers.  Big Larne FC fans Uel and Leslie urge consumers to come and call by the shop when the regulations permit, and you might just grab yourself a bargain.

You see how we have got to know our sponsors over the years, and we want our supporters and followers to have the same relationship too.  Larne is on the climb and so many people are responsible for that.  Continue to get out there to shop local and support local as much as you can.  As a town, as a local economy and as a community we are much stronger together.
