Important access update for Dungannon clash

Nov 15, 2022 | Club News

SUPPORTERS attending Friday night’s Danske Bank Premiership clash with Dungannon Swifts are advised to read the below information on stadium access and road closures ahead of the Mid and East Antrim Borough Council’s Christmas Lights event on the same night.

Information On Both Events

As we anticipate that a large number of supporters may be attending the MEABC’s event prior to kick-off, plans have been put in place to ensure faster entry into Inver Park before the game.

With the Christmas Lights switch on scheduled for 7.30pm at Broadway, it is expected that the tree will be lit before 7.45pm, allowing time for those with match tickets to make the five-minute walk from Broadway to Inver Park just in time for the referees’ whistle.

Supporters attending both events are encouraged to purchase tickets for the McKay Stand or the Church End areas of the stadium, with the Riverside entrance next to St. Cedma’s Church in operation to allow for faster access into the stadium. This entrance will be open before the game and will remain open after kick-off for anyone arriving after 7.45pm.

Road Closure Information & Stadium Arrival

To allow for the Christmas Lights parade to take place, High Street and Bridge Street leading to Inver Park will close at 7.25pm. Those requiring vehicular access to the stadium are asked to arrive at 7pm to avoid congestion at the time of closure.

Supporters are asked to park at the Riverdale Car Park pre-game and make the short walk to the stadium where possible, while those wishing to park at 1st Larne Presbyterian Church can access this area via the Mill Road or Glynn Road.

The Big Match

Friday night will see Tiernan Lynch’s Inver Reds aim to build on their excellent league form with another three points to remain at the top of the Danske Bank Premiership.

We will once again be asking for fans to come out in their numbers to get behind the team under the lights at Inver Park, which always delivers a special atmosphere to push the team forward. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased at larnefc.com/tickets.
