Haveron delighted with Ladies under-11’s progress

Larne Ladies under-11’s were in action against Carnmoney Girls on Sunday 30th August in a friendly match as they looked to build up towards the new season.

Speaking after the game, manager John Haveron said: “The Ladies played really well in a very competitive match and managed to score three very good goals.

“The team showed their togetherness as they kept the ball well and managed to work their way into some good opportunities against good opposition.

“The defence showed off their ability and started a number of attacks, playing some great passes up the pitch to get the team going. The midfield and attackers were relentless and closed down the Carnmoney players at every opportunity to try and win the ball back and get on the front foot.

“We would like to thank Carnmoney Girls for the friendly and are grateful to be able to get a game against a very talented side who played some great football.”

Larne Ladies under 11’s train each Tuesday and Thursday evening at Sandy Bay,  from 6pm – 7:15pm. We welcome anyone who would like to give it a go, to come along to our training and try it out. For more information, please contact John Haveron on 07889173305.
