LARNE Football Club is delighted to announce that Harry Flowers has extended his loan spell with the club, to remain at Inver Park until the end of the 2019/2020 season.

The 23-year-old central defender arrived at Larne from parent club Solihull Moors in August, on an initial loan move which expired today.

He has gone on to establish himself as an important presence at the heart of the defence, making 19 appearances and scoring one goal, to date.

The former Burnley defender will now remain at the club as we look to continue to establish ourselves in the top half of the Danske Bank Premiership for the remainder of the season.

Saturday also sees the start of the club’s involvement in the Sadler’s Peaky Blinder Irish Cup, when we take on Belfast Celtic in the 5th Round at Inver Park (3pm).

Boss Tiernan Lynch spoke of his delight at extending the defender’s stay with the club.

He said: “Harry settled in very quickly to the club and brought exactly what we hoped he would.

“He is a young player who is keen to learn and we have benefited from that, and hope he has too.

“We are grateful for Solihull Moors for extending the loan and we are also pleased Harry wanted to continue with us.

“It’s a great piece of business for the club to keep Harry on board, and a huge thanks must go to those who have made it happen.”
