Harry Adair has become the latest Academy prospect to put pen to paper on a professional contract at Inver Park.

The central midfielder is a second year Scholar at the club and has been captaining Larne Olympic throughout the most recent campaign.

He joins Matty Lusty, Max Greer, Dylan Sloan & Nick Aretzis in having earned the right to sign to a pro deal for Tiernan Lynch’s senior side.

Having been involved in a number of matchday squads this term, Harry’s opportunity to show supporters what he can do came on the final day of the 2021/22 season when he came on as a substitute in the 2-1 win away to Crusaders.

Senior boss Tiernan Lynch, pictured above with Harry, is delighted to see the progress of yet another player from the club’s full-time Scholarship programme.

“Harry, like the other boys before him, has earned his contract,” he said.

“He has been involved training with the senior team on a number of occasions and always impresses with his ability and his attitude.

“We were pleased to be able to give him a taste of competitive action this season and that is an important part of his development. Experiencing some more senior football will be another step for him.

“Harry’s progress is credit to himself, his family and all of those working hard at the club with our players on a daily basis. It’s also further proof that young players will get their chance at Inver Park.”
