SUPPORTER Liaison Officers Richard Todd and Callum McIlroy are putting special plans into place ahead of the last home game of the season, including a guard of honour to welcome the Champions.

Tiernan Lynch’s take on H&W Welders (3pm) on Saturday, in what will be the last Bluefin Sports Championship encounter at Inver Park of a memorable campaign.

Before kick-off however, there are a number of events, including a family funday and opportunities to have your photograph taken with trophy.

Richard and Callum are also encouraging fans to arrive at Inver early to provide the guard of honour.

Richard explains the plans: “Players and management will arrive at Inver by bus, at approximately 12.30 pm with league trophy displayed at front of the bus

“We are encouraging fans to line up along entrance to Inver Park where Primary School banners are.

“The bus will then turn at fanzone and players get off the bus outside the ‘Wee Club’.

“We will have the area cordoned off, and this will allow everyone gathered to welcome players off the bus and a chance to show their appreciation for their efforts throughout the season

“Players will be happy to stay around until for autographs and photos with fans until 1.15pm, when they need to head to the changing rooms to begin their pre-match preparations.

“After this the family funday will get underway.”

Fellow liaison officer Callum McIlroy is encouraging fans of all ages to get to the ground before 12.30pm.

He added: “We would encourage as many fans as possible to get there and give the players a fitting welcome for all they’ve done this season.

“It’s our chance to show how much we appreciate them and a big crowd will look fantastic on the day.

“There will be plenty of things to do before the match and it will make our last home match a really memorable one.”

The message is to make sure you get to Inver Park before 12.30pm this Saturday and make sure you don’t miss out!
