We are delighted to announce the signing of goalkeeper Jack McIntyre, upon the expiry of his contract with Sunderland.
The 19-year-old shot stopper will arrive at Inver Park after spending the last 12 months at the Stadium of Light club.
Manchester-born McIntrye also spent two years in Everton’s academy before heading to the North East, and enjoyed an impressive spell on loan at Radcliffe Borough, in the Northern Premier League, last season.
Manager Tiernan Lynch is pleased to add Jack to the ranks at Inver Park, with just two weeks until our Europa Conference League campaign kicks off away to St Joseph’s in Gibraltar.
“We’re very glad to get Jack in,” he said.
“Obviously the departure of two senior goalkeepers in the summer meant that this was a priority position for us.
“Jack comes with a great pedigree, having been at the clubs he’s worked at so far in his career. We’re very pleased to add Jack to the goalkeeping department and give us competition for places in this area.
“He spent the last week with us which gave him the chance to have a look at us and vice versa and we’re glad to confirm him as a Larne player.”
Jack becomes the fifth arrival at the club this summer, after the signings of Aaron Donnelly, Leroy Millar, Shea Gordon and Daniel Kearns.
Keep an eye on the Club’s social media platforms in the coming days for Jack’s first interview as a Larne player.
