WE are delighted to announce that midfielder Fuad Sule has put pen to paper on a two and a half year contract at the club.

Fuad initially joined the club on loan from Vanarama National League side Barnet in August, having moved to London from Bohemians.

The 22-year-old has made a big impression at the heart of midfield as Tiernan Lynch’s men surged to the top of the Bluefin Sport Championship.

The Dubliner now joins the club on a permanent basis, committing to the end of the 2020/21 season.

First team manager Tiernan Lynch said: “I am delighted that Fuad is now a signed and sealed Larne player.

“It has been a long process, but sometimes that’s what it takes to get a player of this quality.

“We are aware there was interest from elsewhere, and we have had to fight off from clubs in the Irish League and League of Ireland.

“However, he was very keen to stay here. Fuad has been a big part of our season and he’s passionate about wanting to help us to kick on and be part of the long-term vision for the club, and ultimately trying to deliver European football at Inver Park.

“Having him signed permanently is very significant for us as well, it gives everyone stability going forward.”

Kenny Bruce also shared his delight at the signing.

He added: “I am delighted that we have been able to secure Fuad on a long term contract. We couldn’t be happier with his attitude, professionalism and performances seen he joined the squad last year.

“Fuad has fitted in so well to the squad and the culture Tiernan has been developing.

“A huge thanks to Archie Smyth and Tiernan Lynch who worked so hard over the last days to get this deal over the line”
