First half goals see Linfield edge Larne in Irish Cup final

TWO goals inside the first half an hour were enough to clinch the Irish Cup for Linfield, as David Healy’s men ran out eventual 2-1 winners.

Jeff Hughes pulled a goal back in stoppage time at the end of the second half, but Larne’s wait for that elusive first Irish Cup goes on.
