Dean Jarvis to depart Inver Park this summer

Defender Dean Jarvis will depart Inver Park once his contract expires this summer.

The former Derry City full-back arrived at the club in January 2020 from League of Ireland Champions Dundalk.

He spent the following two and a half years at Inver, helping the club to back-to-back County Antrim Shields and successive European qualification.

Dean memorably scored the club’s second goal at home to AGF Aarhus last summer, helping the club to seal victory against the Danish outfit en route to the Europa Conference League 3rd qualifying round.

Boss Tiernan Lynch paid tribute to the player, saying: “We want to thank Dean for his contribution to the club in his time here.

“He showed his versatility during this spell, whether that be at full-back, wing-back or further up the pitch. His goal in Europe last summer will also live long in the memory.”

“His medal collection both north and south of the border is no coincidence and we wish him the very best whatever the next chapter of his career will bring.
