County Antrim Shield decider set for Seaview

Nov 11, 2020 | Archive

This season’s County Antrim Shield final will take place at Seaview on Wednesday 2nd December, with a 7.45pm kick-off.

The North Belfast venue was decided at tonight’s meeting of the County Antrim Senior Shield Committee, for the game which will take place between Tiernan Lynch’s men and Mick McDermott’s Glentoran in three weeks’ time.

It will be the Invermen’s first senior final since the 2005 Irish Cup decider, and our first appearance in a County Antrim Shield decider in some four decades.

A further planning meeting for the game is scheduled for Monday 16th November, when allocation of tickets will be decided.

Please note we are unable to deal with any ticket requests until this is known and would ask supporters to hold enquiries until after this date. Your patience on this matter is greatly appreciated.

As soon as we know our allocation, details around the sale of tickets will be communicated straight away.
