Come & Join the Inver Women

LARNE LADIES are growing all the time, and with Larne Ladies Olympic embarking upon their first season in competitive football the club is looking for new players.

Why join Larne Ladies? Why not? Larne Ladies enjoyed an incredible first season back in competitive football, winning NIWFA North 2 with an undefeated league season, and and came so close to a league and cup double with an extra time League Cup Final defeat. Shelley James was named NIWFA North 2 Player of the Year, and Georgia Crawford was nominated for the same award and the Electric Ireland Game Changer award!

This year, both Larne Ladies and Larne Ladies Olympic train (Sunday afternoons and Wednesday nights) and play their matches on the fantastic new artificial pitch at Inver Park, one of the best pitches in the country.

Larne Ladies have a wealth of women’s football experience on the coaching staff. Our first team coaching staff have all enjoyed success as coaches in the women’s game with William Noble, Craig Leworthy and Gary Hood running the first team.

Larne Ladies Olympic is coached by Daniel Carlisle, who also runs our girls football development programme.

On and off the pitch, the watch word is ‘professionalism’. Larne Ladies is fully supported by Larne Football Club. The Inver Women play a vital role in the club, taking part in coaching Larne Youth players, kit launches, community initiatives and charities fundraisers. All players receive a ‘Player Pass’ to Larne Football Club Men’s First Team matches. Every single player is regarded as a valued member of the club.

Larne Football Club is also committed to providing extensive media coverage of Larne Ladies matches and the club’s aim this year is to increase attendances at Larne Ladies first team matches.

We take women’s football seriously. Everything is in place to provide a platform for you to perform and to enjoy your football. We want you to join us and our journey.

You’re not just joining a women’s team, you’re joining a club at the heart of the town.

If you want to know more, then please contact William Noble on ladies@larnefc.com or 07983 389 347.
