Club statement: All Island proposals

LARNE Football Club can confirm that it was an invited guest to a meeting in Dundalk on Thursday evening, to hear proposals for a new All Island league.

Chairman Gareth Clements and General Manager Niall Curneen represented the club, alongside other NIFL clubs and representatives from the League of Ireland.

The purpose of the meeting was to provide more information on the proposal of an All Island league, and it had a positive and informative tone. We recognise that for these proposals to become a reality it would mean a significant change for all stakeholders in our club.

With this in mind, our Chairman and General Manager will report back to the club’s board in more detail and, following this, we plan to meet the club’s supporters to welcome their feedback on theΒ proposals.
